Health Management

Given the vital role of health in the HSE, it is necessary to explain the importance of industrial health management. In the development planning of this complex, the relationship between health and sustainable development has been taken seriously and in the Fourth Development Plan Of The Islamic Republic Of Iran this issue has been emphasized in order to reduce the health hazards in the workplace, formulate the necessary HSE regulations and guidelines. Because human health has a profound effect on his performance and is regarded as an important tool to achieve the highest productivity. Today, all developing countries recognize that health is the key to achieving sustainable and comprehensive development. In addition to confronting illness and injury, this approach addresses the broader areas of happiness and welfare in life and workplace and its practical meaning has been promoted in combining economic production with the appropriate living and working conditions. So proper and people-oriented industrial development leading to health, and vice versa. But in the unstable and irregular economic development, people's health, safety and the environment are severely threatened. That is why it is necessary to balance "nature and society" with "industrial and economic development". According to what was explained, it has doubled the need for a new approach to occupational health, especially in the context of the integrated HSE system. As stated in Document No. 155 of the International Labor Conference (ILO), every organization should have a coherent and clear policy on occupational health and safety that is regulated, implemented, and periodically reviewed. This approach encompasses all the chemical, physical and biological elements of the workplace and all work processes, including the relationships between the material elements and the people working in the environment, various injuries and accidents, health and safety training, communication and collaboration at work and company levels, It encompasses the protection of workers and even the societies in communication.
